Fest Users and Roles

Roles control what each person can see and change inside Festie. Assign the smallest role that lets the person do their work.

Owner Access

Owners manage the whole fest. They can handle account-level settings, billing, subscription, public identity, workspaces, and other owners. Add owners only for trusted people who are responsible for the event account.

Admin Roles

Admins manage the competition workspace. They may handle candidates, teams, programmes, registrations, schedules, judging, results, reports, templates, downloads, and user invitations depending on the permissions you give them.

Team Manager Roles

Team managers work only for assigned teams. They can usually review team candidates, submit registrations, manage group entries, request substitutions, follow schedules, view results, and raise appeals.

Judge Roles

Judges should only receive access to the programmes they are assigned to judge. They may enter scores, complete judging sheets, and submit results depending on the judging method selected for each programme.

Media Roles

Media users manage files, albums, downloads, news, and public content. Use this role for people who publish event content but should not change registrations or results.

Good Role Hygiene

Review role assignments before the event starts, before result entry begins, and before publishing results. Remove users who no longer need access.
