Understanding user types and permissions is crucial for managing your fest effectively. This section covers all the different user roles available in Festie and their capabilities.

Available Roles

Festie supports four main user roles, each with specific permissions and access levels:

Owner

Complete control over the fest with full access to all features and settings.

• Full admin panel access
• All settings permissions
• User management
• Subscription control

Admin

Full fest management capabilities with limited settings access.

• Full admin panel access
• Templates settings only
• Fest management
• Candidate management

Team Manager

Dedicated interface for managing specific assigned teams and members.

• Separate team panel
• Team-specific access
• Member management
• Registration control

Media Manager

Specialized role for handling media content, galleries, and templates.

• Separate media panel
• Media upload & organization
• Gallery management
• Template editing

Owner Role

The highest level of access with complete control over the fest.

Access:

Same admin panel as Admin users
Full access to all fest features and data
Complete fest management capabilities

Settings Access:

Profile - User profile management
General - Fest settings and configuration
Users - User management and roles
Domains - Domain and subdomain management
Subscription - Billing and subscription management

Admin Role

Full control over fest management with some restrictions.

Access:

Same admin panel as Owner users
Full access to fest management features
Can manage most fest operations

Settings Access:

Frames and Templates - Certificate and poster templates only
Cannot access: Profile, General, Users, Domains, Subscription

Team Manager Role

Manages specific team(s) with limited access.

Access:

Separate Team Manager Panel - Dedicated interface
View team-specific candidates
View team registrations
Register team members (during owner-allowed time)
Manage team-specific data
