Create Your Fest

Choosing a Subdomain

Your fest will be accessible at [subdomain].festie.app. Choose a subdomain that represents your fest:

  1. Navigate to Fest Settings
  2. Click “Change Subdomain”
  3. Enter your desired subdomain
  4. Check availability
  5. Save changes

Subdomain Guidelines:

  • Use lowercase letters and numbers only
  • No spaces or special characters
  • Must be unique across all Festie fests
  • Cannot be changed after fest creation

How to Change Subdomain

If you need to change your subdomain:

  1. Go to Fest Settings > General
  2. Click “Edit Subdomain”
  3. Enter new subdomain
  4. Verify availability
  5. Confirm the change

Note: Changing subdomain will update all public URLs and may affect bookmarks.

Editing Fest Name

Update your fest’s display name:

  1. Navigate to Fest Settings
  2. Click on “Fest Name”
  3. Enter new name
  4. Save changes

The fest name appears on:

  • Public fest website
  • Certificates and posters
  • Email notifications
  • Reports and analytics

Deleting Your Fest

To permanently delete your fest:

  1. Go to Fest Settings > Danger Zone
  2. Click “Delete Fest”
  3. Type the fest name to confirm
  4. Click “Permanently Delete”

Warning: This action cannot be undone. All data will be permanently lost.
