Create Your Fest

Step-by-Step Guide
Creating your fest is the first step in setting up your competition management system. Follow these steps to get started:
1. Choose Your Subdomain

What is a subdomain?
Your subdomain is the unique URL where your fest will be accessible. It will look like: your-fest-name.festie.app
How to choose:
- Must be unique across all fests
- Can only contain lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens
- Cannot start or end with a hyphen
- Choose something memorable and descriptive
Examples:
college-fest-2024sports-competitioncultural-festival
š” Tip: You can change your subdomain later from the fest settings if needed.
2. Enter Fest Name

What to enter:
- The official name of your fest
- This will appear on all public pages
- Used in certificates and posters
- Should be clear and descriptive
Examples:
- āAnnual College Cultural Fest 2024ā
- āInter-School Sports Competitionā
- āTech Innovation Challengeā
š” Tip: You can edit the fest name anytime from the fest settings.
3. Fill Event Details

Event Information:
- Start Date: When your fest begins
- End Date: When your fest ends
- Location: Where the fest is taking place
- Description: Brief description of your fest
Why this matters:
- Helps participants understand the timeline
- Appears on public pages and schedules
- Used for planning and coordination
š” Tip: All these details can be updated later from the fest settings.
4. Add Organizer Details

Organizer Information:
- Organizer Name: Your name or organization name
- Email: Contact email for the fest
- Phone: Contact number (optional)
- Address: Physical address (optional)
š” Tip: You can update organizer details anytime from the fest settings.
5. Create Your Fest
Once youāve filled in all the details:
- Review all the information youāve entered
- Click āCreate Festā button
- Wait for the system to set up your fest
- Youāll be redirected to your fest dashboard
Important Notes
You Can Change Everything Later
- Subdomain can be changed from fest settings
- Fest name can be updated anytime
- Event details can be modified
- Organizer information can be updated
Note: When you create a fest, you automatically become the Owner of the fest.
