User Types and Permissions

Manage user access and permissions for your fest management system.

Admin

Full access to all features and settings.

Permissions:

  • Create and manage fest settings
  • Add and manage all users
  • Access all admin panel features
  • Manage teams, candidates, and sections
  • Configure programmes and rules
  • View all reports and analytics
  • Manage subscriptions and billing

Team Manager

Manage assigned teams and related activities.

Permissions:

  • View and manage assigned teams
  • Add and manage team candidates
  • Upload team media and files
  • View team-specific reports
  • Manage team registrations
  • Access team gallery and downloads

Media Manager

Handle all media-related activities.

Permissions:

  • Upload and manage media files
  • Create and manage galleries
  • Organize media by categories
  • Manage downloads
  • Control media visibility settings
  • Bulk upload and organize content

Judge

Access judgement-related features for assigned programmes.

Permissions:

  • View assigned programmes
  • Access judgement sheets
  • Submit scores and feedback
  • View programme rules
  • Access candidate information for judging

Viewer

Read-only access to public information.

Permissions:

  • View public fest information
  • Access published results
  • View public galleries
  • Download public certificates
  • Register for programmes (if enabled)

Managing Users

Adding New Users

  1. Navigate to Users and Roles
  2. Click “Add User”
  3. Enter user details:
    • Full name
    • Email address
    • Role selection
    • Team assignments (if applicable)
  4. Send invitation
  5. User receives email invitation

User Invitation Process

  1. User receives invitation email
  2. Clicks invitation link
  3. Creates account password
  4. Accepts terms and conditions
  5. Account is activated

Editing User Information

  1. Find user in the list
  2. Click “Edit” next to user
  3. Update information:
    • Personal details
    • Role assignments
    • Team assignments
    • Permission settings
  4. Save changes

Removing Users

  1. Select user to remove
  2. Click “Remove User”
  3. Confirm removal
  4. User access is immediately revoked

Role Management

Creating Custom Roles

  1. Go to Role Management
  2. Click “Create New Role”
  3. Define role name and description
  4. Select specific permissions
  5. Save custom role

Assigning Roles

  1. Select user
  2. Click “Change Role”
  3. Choose new role from dropdown
  4. Confirm role change
  5. User permissions update immediately
