Categories divide candidates, teams, programmes, rules, points, and reports.

Create Categories

Add category names and display order. Use names that participants and admins already understand, such as Junior, Senior, General, Boys, Girls, or Department.

Points

Set candidate and team maximum points when category leaderboards need limits. Review these values before results are published.

Where Categories Matter

Categories affect candidate classification, team eligibility, programme eligibility, rules, reports, gallery filters, and topper lists.

Best Practice

Create categories before importing candidates or programmes. Changing category names later can confuse reports and exports.
