Getting StartedOverview

Getting Started

Festie helps you run competitions and publish reliable results. You can manage participants, teams, programmes, registrations, judges, schedules, scores, reports, certificates, public pages, and media from one workspace.

How Festie Is Organized

A fest is the main event account. Inside a fest, you can create one or more competition workspaces. Each workspace can have its own teams, candidates, categories, programmes, registrations, schedules, results, galleries, downloads, and public result pages.

Use one workspace when your event has one clear competition structure. Use multiple workspaces when different parts of the fest should have separate teams, results, or public pages.

Basic Setup Flow

  1. Create the fest and confirm its name, logo, contact details, and web address.
  2. Create the competition workspace and set its date, location, host, and timezone.
  3. Add categories, teams, sections, and any grouping values you need.
  4. Add candidates or import them in bulk.
  5. Add programmes and configure registration, judging, points, and eligibility.
  6. Invite admins, team managers, judges, and media users.
  7. Open registrations and review entries.
  8. Schedule programmes, assign judges, enter scores, generate results, and publish.
  9. Export reports, certificates, sheets, badges, and posters.
  10. Publish downloads, galleries, news, and public result pages.

Main Panels

The Admin Panel is for full event setup and management. Team Manager is for team representatives. Media Manager is for files, gallery, downloads, news, and public content. Judges use judging-related screens when assigned to programmes.

Before Going Live

Check your timezone, team list, category list, candidate imports, programme type, registration limits, judging method, and result publishing rules. These choices affect registrations, schedules, reports, certificates, and public pages.
