What is a Position Template?

A position template in Festie defines the ranking and position structure for programmes. It helps standardize how participants are ranked and positioned in competitions.

Position templates include:

• Position Levels: 1st, 2nd, 3rd place or Winner, Runner-up, etc.
• Position Criteria: How positions are determined
• Position Descriptions: What each position represents
• Tie-Breaking Rules: How to handle tied scores
• Custom Positions: Your own position system

Enable Position Templates

Activating Position Templates

1. Navigate to Position Templates
2. Click “Enable Position Templates”
3. Choose default template
4. Configure global settings
5. Save configuration

Global Settings

• Default Template: Choose standard template
• Position Display: How positions appear to users
• Tie-Breaking: Method for handling ties
• Position Limits: Maximum number of positions

Manage Position Templates

Creating New Templates

1. Go to Position Templates
2. Click “Create Template”
3. Enter template details:
   • Template name
   • Position levels

4. Save template
