What is Festie?

Festie is a comprehensive result management system for competitions designed for schools, colleges, and organizations. It helps you create, manage, and run cultural, sports, and academic fests with complete result tracking and management capabilities.

Fest Types Supported

Festie supports fests that run competitions with candidates/participants and events that produce results. This includes:

• Arts / Literary Fests
• Sports Fests
• Academic / Inter-college Competitions

Competition Structure

Festie is designed for fests where:

• Candidates/participants compete in various events
• Events produce measurable results
• Results are tracked and points are calculated
• Winners are determined based on performance

Current Limitations

Zonal/Round-based Competitions

Festie does not currently support fests that run in zonal/round-based formats, such as:

• Village-level competitions where winners advance to district level
• Multi-round elimination tournaments
• Hierarchical competition structures

Note: This feature is planned for future implementation.

Separate Fests for Arts and Sports

If you have the same fest but different categories (e.g., Arts and Sports) where:

• Points from each category should not be merged
• Winners should be calculated separately for each category
• You need separate public pages for each category

Current Solution: You need to create two separate fests and manually import candidates and teams for each fest separately. This will give you two separate public pages as well.
